The Chobe National Park is the number one tourist destination in Botswana. It is known as having one of, if not the highest concentration of elephants in any park in Africa (around 50000). You can do a game or self drive. We opted for a sunset cruise along the Chobe river, along the border with Namibia. A cruise allows you to get really close to the animals without disturbing them. In addition to elephants, we saw hippos, crocodiles and buffaloes.
